The Company

Founded in 2001, SKA Polska is a contract research company exploiting knowledge on advanced materials, sensors and processing techniques to provide services for the development of novel measurement techniques, test rigs, optical systems, smart imaging components and control.

The other branch of services covers wide range of numerical computations: from classic static and dynamic FEM simulations, multiphase flow CFD simulations, thermal modeling and multi-body systems to customized codes for complex phenomena modeling and various optimization applications.

Third branch is connected to field of monitoring systems especially utilizing electromagnetic radiation in wide range of wavelengths. These experiences make SKA appropriate partner in taking up a venture based on connecting different fields of activity. SKA has also experience in mechanical and electronic design as well as in graphical user interfaces. Company has a workshop which allows it to build low-scale prototypes of test-rigs, measurement equipment and electronics.

Company’s staff is a multidisciplinary group of engineers who join team based realization of current technical projects along with individual scientific research within specialty of each. It causes that each member of the team does not concentrate on one’s narrow specialization, but one has also wide knowledge on physical and technical subjects most important for certain project.

Such an approach allows for effective solving of the problems, very often using non-conventional means. Specializations of stuff members cover all most important domains of contemporary technology: solid mechanics, thermodynamics, chemistry (especially chemistry of polymers), manufacturing technologies, automatics, electronics and optoelectronics, mathematical modeling and numerical computations.

SKA Polska is today an independent high tech polish company active in contract research and engineering services. Under the signature of confidentiality agreements, SKA Polska undertakes viability programs and prototype development on behalf of third parties, with a particular attention to IPR issues.
